Das Kloster Panagia i Kosmosotira (Unsere Liebe Frau, Retterin der Welt) umfasst eine Festungsmauer (mit Türmen und einem Tor) und ein Katholikon (Hauptkirche) in der Art einer quadratischen Kreuzkirche mit zwei Säulen und fünf Kuppeln. Die ikonografische Dekoration ist ein großartiges Exemplar eines hochwertigen Gemäldes der Schule von Konstantinopel aus dem 12. Jahrhundert. In die Wand der SE-Ecke ist ein Tonornament eingebaut, das einen Adler darstellt. Der Narthex wurde abgerissen, unbekannt wann. Die zentrale Apsis und die Prothese wurden später repariert. Auch später sind die vier Pilaster draußen.

Das Kloster wurde 1152 vom Sevastokrator Isaakios Komnenos, dem dritten Sohn von Alexios I. Isaakios, gegründet und dort begraben. Zweihundert Jahre später wurde das Katholikon in die Moschee von Süleyman umgewandelt, und fünfeinhalb Jahrhunderte später wurde es wieder in eine christliche Kirche umgewandelt.
